The Work Truck Show (March 5-March 8, 2019) is a must-attend event for the work truck industry in North America.
Because a year’s worth of emails, calls and meetings can be accomplished with a single face-to-face conversation, says NTEA, the Association that hosts this annual event.
It is an incredible gathering where over 10,000 people from 21 countries come to see the latest trends in product innovations presented by 500 exhibitors, attend education summits and network with engineering and technical experts in the work truck space.
The Green Truck Summit, for example, is the industry’s premier conference on clean energy innovations for commercial vehicles that will take place this year on March 5. Intensive programs will be led by experts to share insights on successful transitions to alternative fuels and smarter truck systems, electric truck deployment, electric infrastructure development and turning commercial vehicles into work systems.
The Fleet Technical Congress, which also takes place on March 5, will present strategies and processes to help fleet managers to learn about technology-backed fleet operation solutions, disaster recovery planning, fleet power supply and fuel supply strategies, data-enhanced work truck design, last mile recovery, etc.
“With the Fleet Technical Congress and Green Truck Summit sessions running concurrently in rooms literally next to each other, it will be easy for participants to move between sessions and engage in networking opportunities,” says Doyle Sumrall, Managing Director of NTEA. “This is an effort to improve the attendee experience by giving them the chance to customize their schedules and attend whichever sessions interest them the most.”
The Exhibition Floor, spread over 500,000 square feet, will feature vocational trucks from Classes 1–8, including chassis, bodies, components, equipment, technology and accessories. New for 2019, is the New Exhibitor Pavilion, which will showcase companies exhibiting at the Work Truck Show for the first time.
