About Load King

History of Load King

Load King Manufacturing Company has been owned and operated by the Chupp family for three generations. It has served the needs of customers with high-end products and value-added services to help them optimize their sales and protect the integrity of their brands.

In 1943, our founder, James Merrill Chupp began supplying equipment to the supermarket and foodservice industries. In 1973, he founded Load King Manufacturing Company.

Under the leadership of Charles Chupp and now Charles Chupp, Jr., Load King has grown from a regional company to an international corporation recognized globally for quality products and service. Today, Load King Manufacturing is housed in a 350,000-square-foot state-of-the-art manufacturing facility with the design and engineering expertise to provide our customers with world-class product solutions.
